
We are looking for members for our advisory committee to contribute to the development of training programs focused on the realities of trans, non-binary and gender creative youth.
As part of a project funded by the Office for Combating Homophobia and Transphobia,
Gender Creative Kids is developing three new training modules for organizations working with youth.
These training courses will focus on:
- the realities of children experiencing intersectional discrimination
- Legal aspects of intervention with trans youth under the age of 14
- support for parents
We are looking for people with experience or expertise in :
- school environments
- early childhood (daycare centers, day camps, etc.)
- intervention communautaire ou jeunesse
- community or youth intervention
- legal or psychosocial expertise
- lived experience
Commitment :
- 4 meetings in 2026
- approx 1h30–2h per meeting
- online or hybrid meetings
Total estimated time : 10–12 hrs
Compensation:
A lump sum of $400 will be offered for participation in the committee.
