Have you heard? We have a new training!✨👀
Fighting Against Transphobic Violence in Schools: A Collective Responsibility
This training aims to raise awareness among educational institutions’ staff members on the issues surrounding the lives of trans, non-binary and gender creative children and youth, particularly in a school context, and to provide them with the tools they need to better accompany and support students who are directly affected by these issues. In addition, this training will allow staff to identify concrete and effective strategies to prevent and fight against transphobic bullying in schools.🍎📚
This project is led by our Head of Educational Services, Valeria Kirichenko, and designed in collaboration with a wonderful advisory committee. A huge 💕THANKS💕 to Adriane Handfield, Jodania Ossé, Misanka Mupesse, Desirée Chaker-Brenner, Félix Germain, Jean-Sébastien Sauvé, Alex Lacasse and M. Ste-Marie.
This project was made possible by the Ministère de la Famille du Québec.✨🌈
Finally, thanks to our dear partner, the Canada Research Chair on Trans Children and their Families.💫
